Fees & enrolment

What it costs, and how to start.

Fees are charged per session, per child, with no GST. Payment is by direct debit only. Enrolling starts with an email.

Fees

Current rates are available on request

Email us and we will send you the current session fee schedule along with the enrolment pack. Rates are quoted per session, per child, and no GST applies.

There is no sibling or second-child rate.

What a session means

A session is one morning or one afternoon for one child. Before school care runs 7.00am to 8.30am, Monday to Friday. After school care runs 3.00pm to 6.00pm on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, and 2.30pm to 6.00pm on Tuesday.

Bookings are either permanent — the same days each week — or casual, arranged as you need them.

Fee policy

What you are and aren’t charged for.

To retain a permanent booking, fees are charged for the days requested even if your child is absent.

Your child is absent from schoolYesYou are still charged the fee for their regular day, which is what retains the permanent booking.
Sick daysYesPlease let us know by email or text message — this matters for your child’s safety and for the other children attending.
Pupil free and school curriculum daysYesThese are set by the school and are out of our control.
Public holidaysYes—
School holidaysNoThe service is closed. We do not run a vacation care program.
Family holidaysHalfA 50% discount applies if you give us one week’s notice. Up to 10 discounted holiday days per child per year.

Payment

Our service only accepts direct debit as a form of payment. Fees are paid to a nil balance weekly.

Ending a place

Should you wish to end your child’s place, or should management decide to terminate it, one week’s written notice is required from the ending party. If that does not happen, one week’s fees will be billed.

Collection

Signing in, and collecting on time.

It is a legal requirement that parents and guardians personally sign children in and out.

The centre closes at 6.00pm. To keep your child adequately supervised past that time we have to pay staff overtime, and our staff have their own commitments.

If you are running late, staff will try to contact you or your emergency contact — but please arrange for a relative, friend or neighbour to collect your child.

Late collection fee

Collection after 6.00pm incurs an extra fee of $1.00 per minute, included in the next direct debit batch.

Families are given three late fee chances within a school year. After three late fees, the child’s place at the centre is subject to cancellation.

Casual bookings

Booking a casual day.

If you need casual days in any given week, contact the director directly — email cpbasc@gmail.com.

Please note the centre runs separately to the school. It is not sufficient to only call the AIA office. You must inform us directly so that arrangements can be made for your child to be collected — and you must also inform the AIA office so that your child is told.

Why this matters

Your child’s safety is paramount and we take roll call very seriously. It is vital that we know exactly who is attending the service before the bell rings.

Government assistance

Child Care Subsidy.

The Child Care Subsidy is paid directly to our service and reduces what you pay.

You must complete a Child Care Subsidy assessment to determine your eligibility. If you have not done so, visit Services Australia and follow the links to myGov to complete your assessment.

Make sure you complete all sections of the enrolment form — including your CRN and your child’s CRN — so that your subsidy can be applied correctly.

Check your eligibility

Services Australia administers the Child Care Subsidy and can tell you what you are entitled to.

Enrolment

How to enrol.

Three steps, and the first one is an email.

  1. Ask us for the enrolment pack

Email cpbasc@gmail.com and tell us your child’s name, their year at school, and which days you need. We will send you the enrolment form, the direct debit form and the current fee schedule.

  2. Complete and sign both forms

Fill in every section, including your CRN and your child’s CRN, so your Child Care Subsidy is applied correctly. You will also need your child’s Immunisation History Statement, and an action plan from your doctor if your child has asthma or allergies.

  3. Return them to us

Email the completed forms back to cpbasc@gmail.com, or hand them in at the AIA main office. We will confirm your child’s start date.

Before your child’s first session

  • Any medication must be handed personally to a staff member, in its original labelled container, within its use-by date.
  • Please tell us about any allergies, dietary requirements, or cultural and religious practices we should know about. AIA and our service is an allergen aware school with no nuts allowed on site.
  • Let us know who is authorised to collect your child, and give us two emergency contacts.
